Speaking of the devil
Yet another devilish script, this time from the steppes. Olivér Kápolnás saw this in a museum in Inner Mongolia and was kind enough to send it to me and ask for my interpretation. This for the time being amounts to one sentence: no idea, but I will call it srin po'i yi ge until further notice.

I have zero clue, but it looks similar enough to Lanna or Tai Lue.
Thanks anonymous! that just might put things in perspective. whatever is this doing in Central Asia I wonder...
The first question who passed through my mind was "Maybe is an uighur script?", then zooming I realise it isn't that kind. But it seems written and rounded by some of an uighur hand :)
